Mandelbuber 2.17. OpenCL MC render. Mandelbox – Variable formula. Inspired by user Len1 at Deviantart, I did some tweaks of one of his works posted at DA named The Dragon using classic AmazingBox plus Rotation, wich is named Rotbox in the early days of 3D fractals. After some testing with Dragon Essence I decided to use single Mandelbox – Variable fomula, wich I found less noisy and easy to handle.
Digital fractal artwork done with Mandelbulber 2.17. JosLeys-Kleinian V2 formula. OpenCL GI render. I created some dunes using the water plane to create the dunes with a sand material with tiny displacement. Main figure was hard to find a balance using the clamp Y function, leaving out floating particles and avoiding a very blocky look and have acceptable rendertimes with MC.
