After many years, here’s a good old Amazing Surf MB3D render with Monte Carlo.
For those who have been following this blog, you may have seen this shapes many times through different programs and formula variations of it.
Afaik, this setup of Asurf is the original one, which is at the same time a variation of the Amazing Box formula, or also named Mandelbox, found by Thomas Lowe. Some lectures of fractal history: What is a Mandelbox? and
